Commissioned by their church and an evangelical mission, Jany and Yasmina Georgette arrived in Madagascar in 2013 to continue the work of their predecessors for the Mitantana primary school in the small village of Ambovo (15 km from Antananarivo).
In 2013
Responsible for projects and finances, the Georgette couple worked to provide quality education to students for a better future. In response to urgent needs and to combat school dropout, they extended the project to families in difficulty and continued to support children in middle and high school.
In 2020
In 2020, faced with the growing suffering of prisoners and the devastating famine in the south, Pastor Jany and Yasmina Georgette, along with supportive churches and the mission, decided to take action. Aware of the urgency of the situation, they mobilized their forces to provide vital support to the most vulnerable.
In 2023
In 2023, the Mitantana school was entrusted to another NGO, but Jany and Yasmina Georgette, along with two German churches and a mission, resolutely continued the established projects. Jany and Yasmina committed themselves with determination by creating the humanitarian NGO Eliezer to pursue three projects dear to their hearts: humanitarian aid in prisons, the fight against famine, and the fight against school dropout.
