Madagascar has 82 prisons, most of which are overcrowded, reaching up to 1000% of their capacity, according to UN figures. This overcrowding leads to humanitarian tragedies. To respond to this crisis, Eliezer intervenes in the prisons to provide humanitarian aid, thus offering a ray of hope to the inmates. Affected by the living conditions, we have set up distributions of essential products such as soap, blankets, clothing, and hygiene items. We also organize food distributions and set up temporary medical clinics, offering dental and eye care. In collaboration with the ASFA association, Eliezer offers psychological support to inmates who wish it, organizing visits from pastors and spreading the gospel.
